One dead, two injured in AIUDF MLA’s victory rally

Lakhimpur, May 21: The victory procession of newly elected Nowboicha AIUDF MLA Mamun Imdadul Haque ended in disaster as a person was run over by a supporter’s car while two others were seiourlsy injured by another vehicle. The deceased was identified as Mahendra Bora of Nowboicha Bilotia. The people who were present at the accident site claimed that the incident occurred as a consequence of drunken driving. They blamed the MLA for distributing alcohol among his supporters.
