Panel to scrutinize SC certificates

Guwahati, June 24: Amid allegations of candidates securing jobs using fake scheduled caste certificates, Assam government has today formed a committee to investigate into social status claims of individuals on receipt of any complain. The committee will be chaired by the additiol secretary of WPT&BC department. Its members are – director of the WPT&BC department and director of the SC Development Board, while the director of Assam Institute of Tribal Research will be its member secretary.
