Prabhat Bezbaruah new Tea Board chairman

GUWAHATI, May 4: The Centre on Thursday appointed renowned tea planter from Assam Prabhat Kamal Bezbaruah as the new chairman of Tea Board of India. Prior to his appointment as chairman of the country’s apex body on tea, Bezbaruah held several top posts in different prestigious organizations including Tea Research Association and Assam Tea Planters’ Association. Bezbaruah who hails from Upper Assam’s Jorhat district will be holding the Tea Board’s chairman post till November 1, 2018.
