Probe into illegal cigarette trade in Assam

Guwahati, July 29: Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi directed to constitute an inquiry committee to be headed by the Additiol Chief Secretary to check and disband illegal trade in cigarettes reportedly happening in the State. The committee will study different aspects contributing to illegal trade in cigarettes and come out with strategy to firm up State's action against illegal cigarette trade.
