Remaining four berths to be filled before Bihu

GUWAHATI, March 29: Before Rongali Bihu, four vacant berths in the Tarun Gogoi ministry will most likely be filled.

APCC sources said if everything goes well, the four new ministers will take oath of office on either April 8 or April 12.

Talking to mediapersons here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said, “While filling the berths lying vacant, care will be taken to see that different communities and religions are properly represented.”

Sources said mes like present Deputy Speaker Bhimanda Tanti, Bidya Singh Engleng, Rekibuddin Ahmed and Durlav Chamua are now doing the rounds for the four vacant ministerial berths.
