Sensation at Sootea; ultra held

GUWAHATI, Aug 7: Sensation was created at Sootea in Biswath Chariali after the local people saw a group of five youths dressed in Army fatigues roaming near a forest along the Railway Station Road at around 4:30 am. Later the local people informed the police and an operation was conducted in that area.  

In another incident, on the basis of ground information about the presence of a commander of the All Assam Revolutiory Army in Biswath town, a secret operation was launched. In that operation, one Bipul Bora alias Tutu Baruah (36) was apprehended by the police team.

Two live ammunition, one leaflet of the All Assam Revolutiory Army and one mobile phone were recovered from his possession.
