Severe weather forecast for NE

 New Delhi, April 7: The IMD has warned of severe weather conditions for five days starting Saturday. Heavy rains in Meghalaya and thunderstorms with squall and hail are forecast in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Assam, galand, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. “On April 7, heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Meghalaya, while thunderstorms accompanied with squall and hail were likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) statement said.
