GUWAHATI, July 9: As only few months have left for the Assembly elections, the State leadership as well as the tiol leadership of the Bharatiya Jata Party have shifted their focus on Assam. The BJP is all set to hold a crucial meet on July 14. It is being speculated that the party is going to draw its poll agenda in this meeting. The State BJP on Thursday informed that the July 14 meeting will be attended by BJP president Amit Shah along with all the tiol general secretaries, secretaries and general secretaries of organisations affiliated to the party. This crucial meet will also be attended by the State observers of all the Northeastern States. The presidents and the office bearers of all the States of Northeast except Mizoram are going to attend the meeting along with the MPs and MLAs of Assam. tiol observer for Assam, Dr. Mahendra Singh and union minister Dharmendra Pradhan who is in-charge of Assam will also attend this crucial meeting to be held at Machkhowa ITA Centre. It needs to be mentioned here that selected 340 members of the State BJP will also attend this meeting, whcih will decide the future course of the party in Assam.
