Student commits suicide

GUWAHATI, February 1: A graduate student of city’s B Barooah College, Arpita Kashyap, committed suicide on Sunday by hanging herself in her hostel (Lilabati Girls Hostel) room. The incident took place at about 11:30 am. Sources said that a suicide note was left by her in which she hinted at a love related cause for her extreme decision. Meanwhile, police investigation into the case is on. Arpita hailed from Pani Gaon in gaon district.
