Veteran story teller Sivanda Kakati expelled during exam

GAON (HAIBORGAON), March 6: Veteran Assamese short story teller and renowned litterateur Sivanda Kakati ,who appeared for the MA (English) examition under IDOL in gaon College, was expelled on Sunday for allegedly resorting to unfair means in the examition hall. According to the co-orditor of IDOL, Sailen Sarma, the veteran story teller had taken help of unfair means while appearing for his exam. Sivanda Kakati is also a State Bank of India officer.
