Tezpur, April 22: All the sixteen workers who died in the Tawang landslide hail from Assam's Sonitpur district. The workers from Balipara, Thelamara and Dhekiajuli were engaged in the construction work of a hotel - being set up by local legislator Pema Khandu - there. One of the workers has been identified as Faruk Ahmed of Dhekiajuli. The workers had been engaged in the site for the last two months.
