Wakf land grab: Gogoi assures judicial probe

GUWAHATI, Oct 6: Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday stated that the anomalies and encroachment of Wakf board properties in Assam will be duly investigated. In a press release, the Chief Minister said that a judicial inquiry will be done and action will be taken. Meanwhile, AIUDF supremo Badaruddin Ajmal welcomed the move and tweeted, “Welcome Assam CMs order of Judicial enquiry, but enquiry was ordered earlier too, how many more enquiries will it take to unearth the truth?”
