Zubeen triggers another controversy

GUWAHATI, April 19: Popular Assamese singer Zubeen Garg was once again embroiled in a controversy and this time he said one of his songs should be recognized as State song. During his performance at a Bihu function at Pathsala on Saturday, Garg said his ‘Xonere Xojuwa Poja Khohi’ should be the State song. Meanwhile, the AASU said that a singer like Garg should not make such a statement. ‘O Mor Apur Desh’ penned by Raxaraj Laxmith Bezbaruah is the State song of Assam.
