1,528 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Assam on Monday

GUWAHATI: As many as 1,528 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in the State on Monday when 26 people died of the pandemic. While the positivity rate in the State during the day was 0.92 per cent, the recovery rate was 96.41 per cent. The highest number of positive cases was 199 in Kamrup Metro district. It was followed by Golaghat with 131 cases, Kamrup (R) with 88 and Lakhimpur with 91 cases.
