2,169 new COVID-19 cases detected in Assam on Tuesday

As many as 2,169 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the State on Tuesday when 23 people died of the infection.

GUWAHATI: As many as 2,169 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the State on Tuesday when 23 people died of the infection. The positivity rate in the State during the day is 1.74 per cent. A total of 138 new cases were detected in the Lakhimpur district, 232 in Golaghat district, 116 in Sonitpur and 258 in Kamrup (M).
