Assam Election 2021 Voter: Altogether 2,29,92,505 electors will get the opportunity to choose their representatives from 126 constituencies during the three-phase elections for the Assam Legislative Assembly slated on March 27, April 1 and April 6. While the number of male voters is 1,16,57,376; that of the female electors is 1,13,35, 129.

The final photo electoral roll-2021 was published on January 18. Compared to the 'Final Photo Electoral Roll-2020', the State has registered an increase of 5,52,983 voters or 2.46%.

According to the 'Photo Electoral Roll-2021', the highest number of 4,06,555 electors — with 2,02,422 males and 2,04,133 females — are in Dispur Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC). On the other hand, Thowra LAC within Sibsagar district has the lowest number of 1,14,221 voters; of whom, 57,938 are males and 56,283 are females.

In Majuli LAC — being presently represented by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal — of the total 1,30,483 electorates, there are 66,513 male voters and 63,970 female voters. The other age-wise breakup of electorates is as follows: Of the 4,20,792 first-time voters (18-19 age group), there are 2,36,893 males and 1,83,889 females.

Of the 64, 29,378 voters in the 20-29 age group, there are 32,32,795 males and 31,96,583 females. Of the 56,69,880 electorates in the 30-39 age group, there are 28,39,749 males and 28,30,131 females. In the 40-49 age group, of the total 45,12,065 electorates, 22,53, 858 are males and 22, 58, 207 females. In the 50-59 age group, of the total 31,74,752 electorates, there are 16,57,658 males and 15, 17, 094 females. Of the total 17,35,241 electorates in the 60-69 age group, there are 9,22,573 males and 8, 12, 668 females. In the 70-79 age group, of the total 7,56,684 electorates, there are 3,76,156 males and 3,80,258 females.

In the oldest '80-plus' age group, of the total 2,93,713 electorates, there are 1,37,694 males and 1,56, 019 females.

Mentionably, female voters outnumber the males in the following three age groups, namely 40-49 years, 70-79 years, and 80 plus.
