26 die of COVID in Assam on Wednesday with new cases 2,289

GUWAHATI: Twenty-six people died of the COVID-19 in the State on Wednesday when 2,289 new cases were detected out of 1,01,729 tests conducted. The overall positivity rate in the State during the day was 2.25 per cent. The recovery rate was 94.64 per cent. 181 new positive cases were detected in Kamrup (M) district during the day.
