33 die of COVID-19 in Assam on Friday

GUWAHATI: Thirty-three people died of the COVID-19 in the State on Friday when 3,706 new COVID cases were detected. The positivity rate in the State during the day was 2.16 per cent. Sonitpur district topped the list with 262 new positive cases on Friday. It was followed by Golaghat with 240 cases, Dibrugarh with 234 cases, Tinsukia with 210 cases and Kamrup (M) district with 204 cases.
