3,390 new Covid-19 cases detected in Assam, positivity rate 9.87%

GUWAHATI: As many as 3,390 fresh Covid-19 cases were detected in the state today. The positivity rate in the state jumped to 9.87 per cent today from 7.80 per cent yesterday. Four died of the virus today. In the Kamrup (M) district, 919 cases were detected, 263 in Cachar, 217 in Jorhat and 206 in Tinsukia. The recovery rate is 96.07 per cent.
