68 inmates shifted to Transit Camp at Matia in Goalpara district

GUWAHATI: The first batch of 68 people declared as foreigners by various Foreigners Tribunals was moved to the newly-built biggest detention centre, officially known as Transit Camp, at Matia in the Goalpara district. Inspector General of Prisons Barnali Sharma said that the Matia Transit Camp can accommodate 3,000 inmates. (ANI)
