6,897 positive cases; 15 die in Assam

The COVID-19 caseload in the State saw a significant jump on Friday as 6,897 positive cases were detected. Along with the number of cases, the number of fatalities has also increased.

GUWAHATI: The COVID-19 caseload in the State saw a significant jump on Friday as 6,897 positive cases were detected. Along with the number of cases, the number of fatalities has also increased. The number of deaths was 15. The overall positivity rate is 12.13 per cent. In Kamrup (M) district alone, 1,561 positive cases were detected today.
