7 IAS officers test corona positive sending a shockwave among bureaucracy

GUWAHATI: A number of IAS officers have reported positive for COVID-19 in the State, sending a shockwave among the State bureaucracy. Sources said that around seven are confirmed cases. This is not all. As many as 608 personnel, including two IPS officers, of the Assam Police tested COVID-19 till July 14. Of them, 272 have recovered as of now. The toll is 1.
