AIUDF declares list for 16 seats ahead of Assembly Elections

GUWAHATI: The AIUDF (All India United Democratic Front) has selected the following 16 constituencies and members as party candidates for the ensuing election to the Legislative Assembly of Assam. The constituency-wise party candidates are as follows

Jamunamukh: Sirajuddin Ajmal; Bilasipara West: Hafiz Bashir Ahmed; Mankachar: Aminul Islam; Dhubri: Nazrul Haque; Gauripur: Nizanur Rahman; Bhawanipur: Foni Talukdar; Sonai: Karim Uddin Barbhuya; Dhing: Alhaj Aminul Islam; Jonia: Dr Hafiz Rafiqul Islam; Algapur: Nizamuddin Choudhury; Katlichera: Sujam Uddin Laskar.

The following five constituencies will have friendly contests, said the party. Sarukhetri: Minakshi Rahman; Jaleshwar: Rafiqul Islam; Dalgaon: Mujibur Rahman; Chenga: Ashraful Hussain and Bagbar: Rajib Ahmed.
