STAFF REPORTER GUWAHATI:

AJP, ASDC & Raijor Dal Election Winning Strategy: Three regional parties- Asom Jatiya Parishad (AJP), Raijor Dal and Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) will soon make their seat sharing arrangement public for the ensuing Assembly elections.

The AJP president Lurinjyoti Gogoi recently met the Raijor Dal's president Akhil Gogoi at the Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) to discuss the seat sharing issue. There is a possibility of another meeting on the same issue between both the leaders at GMCH on Thursday. Even though the AJP, Raijor Dal and ASDC initially planned to field candidates in 126 assembly constituencies, the number of candidates might decline now.

At a time when the ruling BJP and Congress-led Grand alliance are claiming to win more than 100 seats in the assembly elections LurinJyoti Gogoi told the media on Thursday that a government of regional forces led by the AJP will be seen in Dispur. Gogoi said the people of Assam want a political change.
