Around 27 lakh bigha forest lands are under encroachment: Chandra Mohan Patowary

Forest Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary informed the State Assembly today that around 27 lakh bigha forest lands are under encroachment.

GUWAHATI: Forest Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary informed the State Assembly today that around 27 lakh bigha forest lands (20.26 percent of total reserve forest) in the state are under encroachment.
