Assam Assembly passed 6 university bills in state

GUWAHATI: The State Government will upgrade Nagaon College, Gurucharan College (Silchar), Bongaigaon College, Jagannath Barooah College (Jorhat), North Lakhimpur College, and Sibasagar College as universities. To make this happen, the State Assembly passed six bills today after discussion. Education Minister Ranoj Pegu moved the six bills on the first day of the session.
