Assam Budget to be tabled on July 16 for the financial year 2021-22

GUWAHATI: The State Budget for the financial year 2021-22 will be tabled in the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA) on July 16, 2021. Finance Minister Ajanta Neog will place the budget. This will be the first State Budget of the 15th ALA. The budget session will commence on July 12 and conclude on August 13, 2021. The session will have 15 working days. The Business Advisory Committee of ALA on Thursday held a meeting and chalked out the calendar for the next month's budget session. The meeting was presided over by the Speaker of ALA Biswajit Daimary.
