Assam Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua to Take Charge as Chairman of APDCL

GUWAHATI: Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua will take charge as the Chairman of the APDCL (Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd), APGCL (Assam Power Generation Corporation Ltd) and the AEGCL (Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd) on Monday. This will be the Chief Secretary's additional charge. Former Chairman of these three power companies VK Pipersania quit the post on Saturday.
