GUWAHATI: At long last, the Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell (CM’s SVC) grilled former Director of Tourism Monalisa Goswami in connection with anomalies in the appointment of eight assistant tourism information officer posts in 2010-11.

The CM’s SVC has already grilled the eight candidates and interviewers in connection with the appointment anomalies.

According to sources, the CM’s SVC grilled the former Tourism Director for six hours. The investigators have already got the answer scripts of the eight candidates reevaluated with the help of five professors of Gauhati University. Based on the report of the reevaluation, CM’s SVC grilled the former Tourism Director today. She, however, said that she was ignorant of the anomalies.

Sources alleged that the interviewers were asked to take the interviews but to give credits.
