GUWAHATI: The Assam government pushed back 11 Bangladeshi nationals to Bangladesh today. Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Our mission to prevent infiltration continues. Even today 11 Bangladeshis, who had entered Assam, were sent back. We’re actively working with a zero-tolerance policy to prevent immigrants from entering the state to protect the overall interests of Assam,” he said.
