Assam Government Reshuffles Senior Bureaucrats

GUWAHATI: The State Government shuffled its senior IAS officers today.

According to a notification issued by the Personnel Department, the Government posted MC Jauhari on his reversion from central deputation as the Chairman of the Assam Administrative Tribunal, besides the additional charge of the Chairman of Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd.

The Government relieved Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua from the additional charge of the Chairman of the Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd. The Government relieved Vijayendra from the charge of Assam Administrative Tribunal Chairman and posted him as the Chairman of the Board of Revenue.
