Assam Government sets PMAY-G target by March 2024

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has set a target of constructing 17 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)- Grameen by March 2024. Of these, 8.13 lakh houses have already been completed while several lakh villages are under construction. According to the Assam Government, many eligible people have not been included in the list of beneficiaries of PMAY-G. The Assam Government has requested the Central Government to modify the list through geo-tagging.
