Assam Govt Carried-out Major Reshuffle at Deputy Commissioner Level, 20 Districts to have new DCs

Deputy Commissioner Level Transfers & Postings in Assam: The State government went for a massive reshuffle at the deputy commissioner level transferring the DCs of as many as twenty districts on Sunday.

1. Aayush Garg, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Baksa.

2. Tej Prasad Bhusal, Joint Secretary, Cooperation Department; MD, Assam State Warehousing Corporation Ltd and i/c Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta.

3. Binita Pegu, Secretary to WPT & BC, Personnel, AR&T Departments and Director, TRI, Assam has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Charaideo.

4. Narendra Kumar Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Chirang.

5. Prabhati Thaosen, Secretary to the Home & Political, Implementation of Assam Accord and Border Protection & Development Departments has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Darrang.

6. P Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Darrang has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Dhemaji.

7. Anbamuthan MP, Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner, Dhubri.

8. Meenakshi Das Nath, Director, Welfare of Tea and Ex Tea Garden Tribes, Assam has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Goalpara.

9. Manavendra Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Sonitpur has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Golaghat.

10. Rohan Kumar Jha, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sonitpur has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi.

11. Ashok Kr. Barman, Secretary to Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Departments and Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jorhat.

12. Sumit Sattawan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Cachar and Settlement Officer, Cachar has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur.

13. Megha Nidhi Dahal, Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kokrajhar.

14. Khargeswar Pegu, Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj.

15. Gitimoni Phukan, Joint Secretary to the Higher Education, IAA Departments and Director, Higher Education, Assam has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari.

16. Pawar Narsing Sambhaji, Additional Secretary to the Industries & Commerce and Skill, Entrepreneurship Development Department has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia.

17. Hivare Nisarg Gautam, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, South Salmara Mankachar.

18. Pabitra Ram Khound, Secretary to the Industries & Commerce Department and Commissioner, Industries & Commerce, Assam has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Sonitpur.

19. Dr P Uday Praveen, Deputy Secretary to the Election Department and Joint CEO, Assam has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri.

20. Utpala Saikia, Additional Secretary to the Industries & Commerce Department has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Karbi Anglong.
