GUWAHATI: The pass percentage of students in the Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examination in 2020 is 63.67%. Of this, males constitute 65.25% and females 62.62%. While 26 students secured distinction marks, 95 got Star marks.

Of the total 9,347 candidates who appeared in the AHM-2020 examination, 5,951 cleared it. Altogether 712 students have secured the first division; 2,639 got the second division; and 2,600 have been placed in the third division.

The topper in the AHM examination this year is Eyamin Ali from Dhakua High Madrassa in Barpeta district. He secured 558 out of the total 600 marks. The second position, with 552 marks, has been bagged by Apshana Yesmin from SAB High Madrassa in Kamrup (R). The third position has been secured by Rasidul Ali Sk from Nabajyoti High Madrassa-Howriapet in Kokrajhar district.

Significantly, Jorhat district has registered 100 per cent pass percentage in this year's AHM examination.
