Assam Pradesh Congress Committee launches its first video against CAA

GUWAHATI: The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) released its first video advertisement, which is being aired across platforms, following a traditional Assamese narrative, from intrinsic indigenous culture.

The video was released on the social media by the Congress party; and in the first few hours of its release, the video was trending on top, with more than 1 million views, stated a release.

In the advertisement video, a pertinent question is being raised to shed light on the draconian duo of the CAA-NRC.

The video is being showcased with music and language of 'Bhaona', a Vaishnavite spiritual drama.

The song visually iterates that the Congress will defeat all evil and communal forces, because the party is coming with Guarantees, to usher Assam into its striving collective demand of peace and harmony.

The video, representing the ethos of preserving the heritage, literature and language of the land, which it says has been shunned away in the past five years, through the imposition of the CAA.
