Assam Rifles arrested two women, recovered heroin worth Rs 60 lakh in Aizawl

AIZAWL: Assam Rifles recovered heroin worth Rs 60 lakh from Aizawl and apprehended two women. Based on specific information, the Assam Rifles carried out a joint operation with the Special Narcotics Police Station CID (Crime), Aizawl, in the Sateek area on Monday. During the operation, nine soap cases (120 g) of heroin (No. 4) worth Rs 60 lakh were seized.
