Assam's COVID-19 Positivity Rate keeps Falling, 5,980 New Cases Detected

GUWAHATI: The COVID-19 positivity rate in the State has been falling for the past seven consecutive days. The positivity rate in the State was 8.51 on May 16 that fell to 5.57 on Saturday.

Seventy-nine people died of the virus in the State on Saturday when 5,980 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected. The new cases were 902 in Kamrup (M), 502 in Cachar, 422 in Nagaon and 389 in Kamrup.
