Assam's Security Plan: Paid PSOs for Business Leaders

Guwahati: The state government has decided to provide ‘paid PSOs’ to industrialists and other individuals. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that many big industries are coming to Assam, and their officials may seek PSOs for their security. PSOs will be provided on the basis of the threat perception of such individuals, who have to pay Rs 75,000 per month, the CM said.
