Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta Named As New Assam DGP Incharge

GUWAHATI: Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Special Director General of Police (Border), Assam “is allowed to look after the current duties of DGP (Director General of Police), Assam, in addition to existing duties till posting of a regular substitute vice Kuladhar Saikia who will retire from service on November 30, this year”, stated a notification from the Home department on Friday.
