Centre Releases Rs 3,178 Crore to Assam for Welfare Boost

GUWAHATI: The Centre has released Rs 3,178 crore to Assam as an advance share of tax devolution. Expressing gratitude to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Facilitating this timely release will help us speed up our welfare efforts.”
