Centre to set up National Centre for Disease Control in Guwahati

The NCDC will primarily function as a research centre for Japanese Encephalitis, malaria, Covid etc., and also impart training on prevention of such diseases.

Guwahati: The Centre has decided to establish a National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in Guwahati. Land has already been selected area for the purpose.
