CM Biren Singh flagged off passenger train service between Manipur-Assam

GUWAHATI: To provide better rail connectivity to the people of Manipur, a passenger train service was flagged off today by Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh and Union Minister of State for Railways, Coal & Mine Raosaheb Patil Danve. Passenger train service which has been re-introduced today between Jiribam of Manipur and Silchar of Assam having no. 05659/05660 will fulfil long-standing requirement of the people of Manipur, a press release said.
