GUWAHATI: State DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta asked the parent organizations of private madrassas to submit details of private madrassas to the Department of Secondary Education by December 1, 2022. He said that the department would launch a portal for uploading details of madrassas. The madrassa parent organizations had a meeting with the DGP and education officials today.
