GUWAHATI: The Directorate of Geology and Mining seized 13 coal depots in Gali 13 and 14 in the Basistha area in Guwahati today for suspected illegal storage and transportation of coal.

According to official sources, the coal depots failed to show valid documents supporting the coal storage during the raids. And that led to the seizure of coal stocks.
