Gauhati High Court orders Trials in Child Trafficking Cases

Guwahati: Following a Supreme Court judgement dated April 15, 2025, related to Criminal Appeal no 1927/2025 (Pinki vs. State of Uttar Pradesh and Anr.), the Gauhati High Court has directed that all trials of all child trafficking cases pending in the different courts in Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh should be completed within a period of six months from the date of the circular pertaining to the same.
