Gogoi questions Akhil's 'funding'

GUWAHATI, March 20: Flaying Krishak Mukti Sangram Samity (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi for launching a new political party, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Friday alleged that the KMSS leader is using “black money” to launch the new party.

Talking to mediapersons here on Friday, Gogoi alleged, “I know from where the money has come. I am ready to provide the list.”

Slamming Akhil Gogoi, the Chief Minister alleged, “People will now see the real face of Akhil Gogoi and understand the actual goal of the KMSS – whether it is welfare of peasants or doing politics,” adding, “Akhil speaks about one thing but does another.”

The Chief Minister added, “We also collect money from different sources but through cheques. Has Akhil collected money for his party through cheques? He must make these things public.”
