Gossaigaon Police Seized Illegal Teak Truck, 3 Held

GOSSAIGAON: Acting on a tipoff, Gossaigaon police seized an illegal teak wood-laden 18-wheel truck (HR-69C/4453) from Padabil village area at NH-31 (C) under Gossaigaon PS in Kokrajhar and atrested three persons on Tuesday evening. Sources revealed that the truck was loaded from Yempha village in Nagaland and was going to Kolkata. The value of the wood is estimated at around six lakhs of rupees.
