'Arsenicum Album 30' given to Raj Bhawan staffers

GUWAHATI: With an attempt to prevent COVID-19 infection and in line with the advisories of the AYUSH, Government of India, Assam Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi along with the First Lady of Assam Prem Mukhi gave Homeopathic medicine 'Arsenicum Album 30' to the officers, staff including CRPF and other personnel posted in Raj Bhavan.

The Governor said that in line with the AYUSH Ministry which has issued a health advisory and recommended that Homeopathic and Unani medicines could be effective in the prevention of novel coronavirus infection, he, therefore, gave 'Arsenicum album 30' as a prophylactic medicine against coronavirus-induced infection.

Prof Mukhi, at the same time, has asked all to strictly adhere to the advisories of the Health and Family Welfare Department and practice social distancing protocols as well as other safety measures like wearing masks and avoid spitting in public to save precious lives from viral infection, stated a Raj Bhawan release.
