Need to update your Aadhaar card details? You can get your name, date of birth, address for communication, gender details etc., updated online. However, to make such changes, you must link your mobile number to the Aadhaar.

The procedure –

Step 1: Visit https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/

Step 2: Click on 'Proceed to update Aadhaar'.

Step 3: Enter the Aadhaar number and captcha.

Step 4: Click on 'Send OTP'.

Step 5: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

Step 6: Select 'Update demographics data'.

Step 7: Select relevant options on the next page and click on 'Proceed'.

Step 8: You can update the changes on the next page. Upload the relevant document next.

Step 9: Review the details you have entered.

Step 10: Submit the change request. You can use the Update Registration Number (URN) to track the status of the address change.

You can also update the Aadhaar card details offline. You must fill the application correction form by requesting one at your nearest Aadhaar enrollment centre. Ensure that you have entered the details correctly. Attach the documents and submit the application form to update the change or changes. You will have to pay a fee to get your Aadhaar details changed.
