India-Japan Pact to Boost Aquaculture in Assam

GUWAHATI: The Government of India and the Government of Japan signed a Yen 3.580 billion agreement for the Assam State Aquaculture Promotion and Livelihood Improvement Project. "This agreement will boost aquaculture, augment farmers' income and spur economic growth in the grassroots," Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
